ATS shear balers are designated from the ground up as Very Heavy Duty (VHD), high output machines and are recommended for processing a wide range of scrap where very high through put ans shear force is required.

Description

The Shear Baler Stationary TITAN ATS shear balers are the largest and most powerful shear balers in the TAURUS BLULINE twin wing range with top of its class shear force and output performance. ATS shears incorporate a very heavy structure (VHS); no foundations are needed as all ATS series shears are equipped with a solid supporting frame. As a secondary function, the frame provides protection for the hydraulic pipes as well as the platform to affix the wing cylinder protection covers. Incorporating the original TAURUS BLULINE twin “swinging wings system” with over stroke on both wings (patent pending). The over stroke function increases the density of the scrap while significantly minimizing frictional wear within the squeeze box. The squeeze box liners as well as the internal and external surface of both wings incorporate highly wear resistant Hardox steel. The shear head incorporate interchangeable wear plates made of wear resistant steel to ensure a long service life.
